Hedgehogs will often use a variety of different places to build a nest, under a garden shed or in a compost heap etc. You can also support them by purchasing a hedgehog box or building one, putting a log pile in your garden that a hedgehog can get under, leave the leafs that fall in autumn on the ground and leave a gap of at least 5 inches under your garden shed.
